The truth my hurt, but it needs to be said!
In my opinion, I believe that the government needs to do more for the LGBTQ+ community. We have so many laws that are put in place that prevents the lgbt+ community for doing something or even laws that are just there because people see them as different. Why do we even need to question what someone is doing in their private life or who they are seeing? Who gave us the right to do this? We go around acting like what they are doing is effecting us, but in reality if you pass a gay couple on the street are they really bothering you physically, emotionally, or mentally.NO! So why are we trying to take away things that matter to them. They are just as human as you are, but people continue to treat them as if they some foreign object that doesn't have feelings. We are never going to have a civil world if we never learn how to love one another or even just treat one another with respect. Respect isn't given it's earned and if people don't learn how to show respect for others than they aren't ever going to earn it.
